I work with an older lady who lives alone. She only has one phone in her home and it is not portable—so she often misses phone calls (it is difficult for her to get to the phone in time). I’m working with a 67 year old man who is sleeping on a broken couch which is too short for his stature of 6’3”. He has chronic pain related to a bad back and could really use a longer twin sized bed so he could sleep peacefully at night. He is on SSI and does not have the resources to purchase a bed. I have a senior whose vacuum cleaner is no longer working. She is on a fixed income, raising two grandchildren and does not have the funds to purchase a new one. She and one grandchild have asthma so keeping the carpet in her apartment as clean as possible is of import to their health. I have an 89 year old woman who is needing to monitor her blood pressure. She had a donated automatic blood pressure monitor that stopped working. She is on a very limited income and cannot afford a replacement. If you are able to assist this dear woman please contact a.taylor@clintonvillecrc.org
